Backstory, Present, and Future Goals

I’m a male artist who’s always been interested in art, ever since I was young. Drawing was something I enjoyed doing whenever I had free time. In the early years of elementary school, I would pick up a pencil/pen and start sketching. I began to take art more serious around my senior year of high school, once I recognized the obvious advancements in my work. As a digital artist, elevating my skills is always in mind. I would like to expand my work even further in the future by creating traditional art. Getting back into sketching, possibly start painting, and maybe be able to create some masterpieces. Versatility is something I would enjoy showcase, because it challenges me to acquire many different styles and skill sets. I’m constantly looking forward to enhancing my work as I continue to draw, because there’s always room for improvement.

As I view other artists’ work, I get inclined and obtain the drive to work harder. Being able to observe different styles such as digital art, painting, sketching, is amazing. Seeing those various art styles with the techniques used, is an artistic definition of creativity. It’s an inspiration. My work could as well be an inspiration to others who also want to create art. I encourage anyone to start drawing, even if they think it’s not good enough. Practice as much as you can when you have time, study others’ work, and watch videos online for better tips and tricks. While being an artist, criticism will come with it. You’ll have to learn the ability to accept it, and to not consume it as negativity. Take the criticism as a lesson to work harder and focus on your craft, turning it into an overall improvement. Even if the criticism is directly negative, don’t let it bother you mentally. Don’t ever doubt yourself throughout the process, that will encourage discouragement. As long as you stay positive and keep working, the improved results will show. I greatly appreciate all the other artists who’ve definitely inspired me, and hopefully the future artists can one day become an inspiration to others.
